This is Me 1
I’m Louise, I live in Nottinghamshire with my gorgeous sons Charlie and Jamie. I am something no one wants to be. A widow. George was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer at the age of 33.Eleven short months later he peacefully passed away. Up until 2018, I had worked in the corporate world all of my adult life.
I specialised in selling and marketing chocolate products; It was something that was every part as brilliant as it sounded I adored the fast paced and challenging environments I found myself in. Before my mid thirties, I seemingly had it all. I was the classic stereotype of how we think we should be. But was I happy in myself? Truly comfortable in my own skin? Lots of reflection, has since made me realise, that I wasn’t as happy as I maybe thought. I had lots of anxiety and was always searching for more. I had a one way ticket to destination addiction.

I was desperately keeping up, with the image of what I thought I should be. Within the middle of darkness, and despair, something extraordinary happened. That’s why I’ve written my first book, so I can tell the tale. I never anticipated, that George’s diagnosis, would supernaturally blow wide open, my comprehension of this world.
It’s in amongst the turmoil of this pain and grief that I’ve found myself. It’s allowed me to understand the power of what lies inside my heart, what’s also inside your heart too. This was how the wonderfulness of life was born, ultimately I had a life altering realisation. If I could find joy and light, in a moment of such tragically disgusting sorrow. then so too can you.

I have always been real with my friends. I have also always looked for the fun and the sunshine. I don’t like to abide by the rules. I like to be real, I like to be genuine. My hope, is that some of the magic, you find within my stories and talks inspires you. I pray, that this is the beginning of one of life’s most precious transformations. Truly knowing yourself, and your calling.
I want to help you, unleash the wonderfulness of your life. Are you with me?
